I'm a senior now

I’m a senior now

I played that last note at graduation

They flipped their tassels

They did their walk out

They’re gone

I’m a senior now

The halls are going to feel less heavy

The classes are gonna be more interesting

And soon I’ll walk down them for the last time

What do I do now?

I’m actually about to start living my life

Going to college

Figuring it all out

That’s me now

I’m a senior

Why am I sad?

Why am I sitting in my car drinking a milkshake and trying not to cry

Why can’t I accept it

The last schedule

The last spirit week

The last year

I’m almost there

Almost crossed the finish line

I’m a senior now

I gotta live this life

I gotta do it up

Or I’ll let down all those seniors who walked out today

All those seniors who’ve changed me into the person I am today

I can’t do that

I’m a senior now

I’ve gotta accept it
